Education and Knowledge Sharing

Somesha Kike Program

At INUA KIKE, we are dedicated to enhancing access to education and knowledge for Kenyan women and girls, empowering them to claim and enjoy their rights fully. We strive to create a society where women and girls can thrive, free from the burdens of economic dependency, illiteracy, marginalization, HIV/AIDS, Sexual & Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), conflicts, and insensitive laws and policies.

What we do

Raising Awareness

We utilize various platforms to raise awareness on legal, gender, and human rights issues. Through informative campaigns and advocacy, we empower women to identify injustices and take action against violations they face.

Education Spaces

We create safe and supportive educational spaces for girls and women to learn and grow. Education is a powerful tool that enables them to unlock their potential and pursue a brighter future.

Vocational Training

We offer both formal and informal vocational training, equipping women and girls with valuable skills that enhance their employability and economic independence.

Research and Information Sharing

We conduct research on topics affecting women, girls, and community development. By sharing this information, we foster informed decision-making and bring about positive change.

Support for Justice

Our organization stands by women in their pursuit of justice. We provide information on legislative and judicial structures, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources needed to address legal challenges.

Who We Serve

Primary Beneficiaries

Our primary focus is on poor, vulnerable women and girls, including those with disabilities. We extend our support to those living in urban informal settlements and remote rural areas, facing economic hardships, illiteracy, marginalization, HIV/AIDS, SGBV, conflicts, and unjust policies

Secondary Beneficiaries

We also extend our services to households headed by women and girls, widowed individuals fostering vulnerable children, girls, youth, and men. Recognizing women and girls as breadwinners, we strive to uplift entire families and communities.

Improving livelihoods and well-being

Our ultimate goal is to improve the livelihoods and well-being of the women, girls, and families we serve. We remain committed to providing a comprehensive range of services that uplift their lives, fostering a brighter future for all.
